Its been a while since I’ve updated this but I just downloaded the new Tumblr app for Blackberry. So maybe now I will actually use this thing a bit more often.
The last few nights at work have been for the most part uneventful. There’s been the occasional criminal trespasser or suspicious vehicle but nothing too crazy. After tonights shift is over and after I try n get 8 hours of sleep I’m guna head over to Athens and spend a few days at Stephens place. It will be good to just kick it and relax.
Well I’m still kind of on the disabled list with the strained stomach muscle. Its driving me crazy not being able to train like usual. I went on a slight 4mile run/walk today. It was way too damn hot and I didn’t have enough water/gatorade mix with me so the majority was a walk. Again its driving me crazy. I got some icey hot patches so hopefully that will help. I have a 5k race this Saturday so I’m trying to be ready for that.

Awesome, I’m pretty sure I pulled or strained a stomach muscle on the ride yesterday. Sucks!
Got up at around 0800 to get ready for a ride on the Comet. Weather was being a little sketchy this morning so I almost didn’t go. Got over to the trail around 1030 or so. After getting stretched up and geared up i started the ride around 11. Rode with another cyclist named Steve who is currently training for a Century ride. Ride was awesome, the Trail is great. It was either flat or a slight incline. Kept an average speed pf 20-25mph. Used the tri-bars a lot. Scenery was beautiful and the weather held up, it was great! We ended up riding 61miles in 3 1/2 hours, just what we were aiming for. Over all it was a great ride and I cant wait to go again. Now back to the tri training schedule. Am and PM. Ill be focusing on running this week and getting ready for the 5k race this Saturday.
